Job Summary
Manage record requests and conduct searches for records within agency operations. Monitor court due dates and ensure records produced are legally and factually accurate to the claims presented. Work on larger projects as needed, following project outlines, and with potential to supervise other staff as experience grows. Collaboration with internal and external agency staff to ensure efficient task management in handling claims against the City of New York.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university and two years of full-time satisfactory experience investigating and/or settling claims for personal injury or property damage or loss
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and four years of full-time satisfactory experience investigating and/or settling claims for personal injury or property damage or loss
- A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience that is equivalent to the above
