Job Summary
Claim Investigation Specialist I role supporting the claims organization by rapidly developing facts and evidence for assigned claims, including obtaining police/fire/incident reports, video footage, and other evidence; conducting public-record, docket, DMV, property, licensing, and other research; performing open-source and social media corroboration; assisting with medical and damages development; preparing concise factual and damages summaries, timelines, and issue lists; coordinating with claim examiners, defense counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders; monitoring investigation progress and managing vendor deliverables; and communicating professionally with insureds, claimants, and counsel to ensure thorough, timely claim development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of claim handling, liability investigation, paralegal, legal assistant, insurance investigation, or related experience preferred but not required
- Experience with auto liability, general liability, professional liability, property, casualty, litigation, or complex claim environments preferred
