Job Summary
Investigate, analyze, and handle new and reassigned Bodily Injury claims for coverage, liability, damages, litigation, and reserves while managing RLI Transportation claims. Verify policy limits, deductibles, locations, exclusions, and endorsements; obtain information through various means to evaluate liability and monitor claim status for potential exposure opportunities. Review coverage matters, analysis, and determinations; handle risk transfer and arbitration. Manage appraisers, investigators, adjusters, attorneys, and experts as needed to maintain claim files and ensure proper documentation and resolution. Requires 5+ years of commercial auto/trucking claim handling and litigation experience. Base salary range $68,556.00 - $98,036.00. Hybrid work arrangements available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field
- 5+ years of auto claim handling experience
- 5+ years of litigation handling to include mediation and trial observation experience
- Experience in handling trucking, bus and/or commercial auto claims
Desired Qualifications
- AIC, SCLA or CPCU designation
