Job Summary
Handle claims by assembling job files, validating field documentation, and preparing estimates for customers and insurers using Xactimate software. Coordinate claim disputes with carriers, manage escalated customer issues, and ensure transparent adjuster communication throughout the process. Execute job close-outs by completing documentation for insurance and customers, verifying file integrity, and resolving complex problems to maintain satisfaction. Maintain constant contact with adjusters and manage associated jobs to ensure proper closure and readiness for invoicing. Work 40 hours weekly with flexible overtime, supporting a fast-paced emergency restoration team focused on helping customers recover from water and fire damage.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative or office-related experience
- 2+ years of insurance-related experience using Xactimate
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
- 40 hours/week, flexible to work overtime when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with writing estimates, job file processes, and quality assurance
- Experience in the service industry environment, specifically emergency services (water/fire restoration)
