Job Summary
Para/SS/1-1 for Student with Disability at Park Middle School. The paraeducator works with and supervises students with Autism, collaborating with the special education teacher and team to deliver instructional support, collect data, and maintain documentation to monitor progress. Duties include adapting instructional materials, performing other paraeducator tasks as assigned, and ensuring compliance with district policies. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, background checks, CPI training, and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff. This is a part-time role (6 hours/day, 180 days/year) with potential for up to an additional $0.60/hour based on college-level credits earned. Salary ranges from $20.86 to $24.27 per hour, salary not including the additional credit-based pay. Location: Park Middle School, Kennewick, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must attach unofficial transcript proving AA or equivalent to application.
- Must pass a background check, which includes employee paid fingerprinting.
- CPI training must be obtained at the next available opportunity.
