Job Summary
Commercial Lines Marketing Account Executive responsible for marketing new accounts, quoting and presenting coverage terms to Producers, underwriters, and marketing representatives; cultivate producer and client relationships; manage submissions using Epic, prepare Acord applications, analyze quotes with Producers, and support binding coverage per agency agreements. Develop market knowledge to optimize quotes and coverages, collaborate to close sales, and provide ongoing service and coordination with underwriting and marketing teams. Requires ability to explain complex issues, strong attention to detail, and comfort with occasional travel; Bachelor’s degree (or insurance-equivalent) preferred; related licensing maintained as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or insurance equivalent experience
- Ability to use a desktop or laptop computer and Microsoft Office suite
- Maintain insurance license as required by state DoI and Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to generate new business, retain existing business, and close sales
- Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays for business or training
