CKF Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate community-based outreach and education activities by planning events, hosting bi-annual coalition meetings, and distributing monthly email updates. Develop the annual CKF Work Plan and nurture relationships with schools, organizations, and grant funders to increase program visibility. Identify funding prospects, complete public health coverage applications for consumers, and provide ongoing support to applicants for benefit utilization. Participate in the agency Outreach Committee, assist with clerical operations, and travel for training and intake activities. Work Monday through Thursday until 5:30 PM, with Friday hours ending at 11:30 AM, plus occasional evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 on auto insurance
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, when required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years experience within non-profit outreach and promotional activities
- Outstanding written communication and presentation skills
- Spanish or Burmese Bi-lingual
- Ability to work with minimal supervision both alone and with others in a team environment
- Self-motivated, dependable, reliable, attentive to detail, well organized, work well under stress, and able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
