Job Summary
Arts & Leisure Assistant coordinates, promotes, and executes events, activities and programs to enhance residents’ physical, social, spiritual, and mental well-being; encourages participation in activities; assists with calendar and communications; recruits and maintains a volunteer base; supports setup/teardown and attends trainings; operates with consistent attendance; requires effective reading, writing, and spoken English, and physical ability for standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, and long days including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Creativity and imagination
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy which includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft Office suite
