Job Summary
Operate excavators to strip native ground, stockpile material with proper slopes, and excavate ditches while loading haul trucks and placing material for compaction. Drive bulldozers to grade soil in appropriate lift thicknesses and use vibratory drum equipment to compact earth per Geotechnical Engineer recommendations. Safely maneuver machinery near existing utilities and operate Street Sweepers to clear municipal roads. Perform daily equipment maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and pre-operational checks, while communicating via two-way radios. Requires Grade 12 education, three years of civil construction experience, and a valid BC driver's license. Salary ranges from $38–50/hour. Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 Education
- At least 3 years of experience in the civil construction industry operating heavy equipment
- Valid BC driver's license
- Possess knowledge of site grading concepts

- The ability to plan ahead
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
