Job Summary
Design and draft civil engineering solutions for municipal and land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D; develop designs, plans, and documentation; collaborate with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely delivery; prepare regulatory approvals, cost estimates, and tender packages; coordinate with team to meet schedules and budgets while upholding quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited institution and eligibility for registration with ASTTBC or similar bodies
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on AutoCAD drafting and Civil 3D design experience for municipal and land development projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of local development bylaws and regulations
- Ability to navigate multiple software platforms including Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
