Job Summary
Assist the Civil Crew Lead in pouring foundations, installing fencing and grounding, and maintaining areas around towers. Perform groundwork, bolting, cadwelding, and site coordination while completing daily JSA forms. Operate backhoes, forklifts, and hand tools to build sites per customer specs and maintain vehicles and equipment. Participate in weekly safety calls and industrial first aid training. Work in a field environment Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with 80 to 100% travel and long, unpredictable hours. Must pass background and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be able to work in a team environment and be a valued member of the crew and the company
- Must be able to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc
- Must be able to operate different types of equipment such as backhoe, forklift, electrical and hand tools, etc
- Successful completion of industrial first aid and rescue training
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and by email with team members and clients
- Must be able to read, comprehend and carry out instructions
- Must be able to work on a team and independently as required
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements set forth in ANSI Z359 for fall protection gear
- Must have complete knowledge on use and care of basic hand tools and power tools
- Must have valid Driver's License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification
- Must be willing to travel out of market/state for up to several months at a time (90%)
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

- Basic Rigging
- General construction knowledge to include knowledge of construction equipment/machinery
- Mechanically included
- Electrical/electronics education a plus
- CDL Class A certification a plus
