Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests, communicate with customers to resolve maintenance issues, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment. Visually inspect tools and machines, operate utility shut-offs, and maintain inventory by requisitioning parts. Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items while using the Lockout/Tagout system. Program TVs, perform surface preparation and painting, and handle landscaping repairs. Complete daily activity reporting, input air handler schedules, and adhere to safety policies. Requires a driver's license and basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to lift heavier objects with assistance
- Must be able to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus
