Job Summary
Civil Supervisor at SAMSUNG E&A responsible for assisting construction supervision under the superintendent and senior supervisor. Oversees safety and quality on site, ensures adherence to project specifications and ITP, coordinates drawings and materials ahead of execution, monitors progress (daily/weekly/monthly), prepares construction reports and MOMs, participates in close-out activities (walk downs, punch items), and supports coordination with subcontractors. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 10–15 years of civil supervision experience in oil/gas/petrochemical or power plant environments. Strong knowledge of construction management, safety, survey/soil-improvement techniques, and proficiency with MS Office; effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering major
- 10 to 15 years of experience in civil supervision
- Basic knowledge of project specifications and standards
- Experience in oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants as senior technician or senior foreman level
- Engineering & Construction Company working experience
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of survey, pile load test, pile work, earth work, concrete, paving, fire proofing, waterproofing, jetty
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage construction progress and track work done quantities
- Ability to prepare construction reports and method statements
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Safety regulations familiarity
