Civil Superintendent

Job Summary
Direct and coordinate all civil construction activities for a hyperscale data center project, including earthwork, utilities, foundations, drainage, and site infrastructure. Lead collaboration with owner representatives, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution, set priorities, and maintain schedule alignment. Drive field productivity, safety, and quality, develop site logistics plans, plan manpower and equipment needs, and participate in CPM scheduling and short-term look-ahead planning. Oversee safety briefings, ensure OSHA compliance, manage field progress against plan, review civil drawings and contract documents, mentor junior staff, support commissioning and turnover, and maintain accurate as-built documentation and redlines. Demonstrate leadership and a strong civil construction technical skill set in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 6 years of civil construction experience, preferably on large-scale, fast-paced, or mission-critical projects.
- Experience managing civil scopes valued over $1 million.
- Strong understanding of civil planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Solid understanding of financial and cost-control principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with scheduling software is a plus.
- Experience working on hyperscale data centers or other mission-critical facilities is highly desirable.
