Job Summary
Civil Superintendent oversees civil construction on utility-scale solar projects, ensuring QA/QC, compliance with design/engineering standards, and effective sub-contractor oversight throughout the civil construction phase. Role emphasizes monitoring conformity to project drawings/specifications, producing daily reports and documentation, managing safety practices, and supporting punch list and project closeout. Requires 5+ years in construction inspection within energy/infrastructure projects, ability to read drawings/specifications, strong communication, travel to sites, and OSHA 30 certification.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction inspection experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Experience in civil works such as grading, drainage systems, road construction, and large-scale utility solar projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, Specifications, and Inspection criteria
- Strong documentation, communication, and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Experience with renewable energy projects or utility scale infrastructure
- OSHA 30 certification
