Job Summary
Inspect civil and structural works to verify compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications. Monitor site activities for construction quality and safety adherence, reviewing materials, foundations, concrete works, and reinforcement placement. Identify non-conformities and coordinate with engineers and contractors to resolve technical issues. Prepare inspection reports, maintain logs, and support testing and commissioning activities. Requires a degree in civil or structural engineering with at least six years of experience in inspection and supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in inspection and supervision of civil/structural works in construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of concrete structures, foundations, and civil engineering materials
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.)
- Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in MS Office and site inspection documentation tools
