Required Qualifications

• •10+ years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering
• •Experience leading complex, multi-discipline projects
• •current or previous experience leading engineering teams
• •Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
• •Professional Engineer (PE) license
• •Strong interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with all levels of employees to achieve company and project goals
• •Demonstrated ability and desire to oversee, manage, and grow a technical department
• •Proficiency in structural analysis and design for new building systems
• •Experience performing seismic evaluations and retrofit design
• •Experience developing structural calculations and technical reports
• •Experience coordinating engineering work with BIM/CAD design teams
• •Familiarity with building codes, seismic standards, and industry design practices
• •Able to identify, communicate, and drive value creation through innovative engineering and design approaches on projects
• •Ability to develop standards, procedures, protocols, project cost estimates, project schedules, and task breakdowns
• •Demonstrates awareness and commitment to health, safety, and environmental issues
• •Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within Eichleay and with clients and partners
• •Occasionally travel to Eichleay offices and client sites across the Western US (up to 25%)
• •HHFT Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain
• •Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain
• •TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain
• •Background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification
• •Participation in random drug and alcohol programs
• •Authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
• •Ability to be badged and maintain a badge as a safety sensitive position
• •Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
