Job Summary

Civil/Structural Engineer needed to provide design and technical support across heavy industrial consulting projects. Responsibilities include designing and analyzing foundations and mill buildings, developing fall protection systems per OSHA, upgrading crane runways with load assessments, performing structural analysis with industry-standard software, preparing drawings, specifications and reports, and coordinating with clients and internal engineers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 3-5 years of civil/structural experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, STAAD software knowledge, familiarity with relevant codes (Technical Report No. 13, CMAA, AISC), willingness to travel to client sites, and a drive to earn/maintain PE licensure under supervision. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Experience with STAAD software
  • Knowledge of applicable codes (Technical Report No. 13, CMAA, AISC) and industrial standards
  • Experience in Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Facilities
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
  • Desire to earn or maintain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure under supervision

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in progress or completed
  • 3-5 years of civil/structural engineering experience in heavy industrial facilities
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Experience with STAAD or equivalent structural analysis software
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards (AISC, CMAA, STAAD, Technical Report No. 13)
  • Willingness to travel to client sites
  • Ability to develop foundations, crane runway upgrades, and fall protection systems
  • Experience producing drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and project updates
