Job Summary
Conduct civil structural engineering work including writing calculation packages and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Apply knowledge of AISC, IBC, ASCE 7, and ACI standards while utilizing AutoCAD and GTStrudl. Interface with clients and engineers, with nuclear power experience preferred. Travel up to 25% of the time with an option for two days of work from home. Submit resume to bpenn@penntechnical.com.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 10 years of experience
- knowledge of the AISC
- knowledge of the IBC
- knowledge of ASCE 7
- knowledge of ACI
- ability to write calculation packages
- must be willing and able to self-manage more than one project at a time
- think outside the box
- interface with clients (engineers and non-engineers)
Desired Qualifications
- Nuclear power experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
