Job Summary
Design and upgrade steel structures for upstream petroleum projects; perform structural steel design and design control per AISC, API 4F, API RP 2A, DNV, ABS; develop detailed 3D structural models to support planning and execution; design bolted and welded steel connections following AISC standards; requires English proficiency and a Civil Engineering diploma with at least 5 years of upstream steel design experience; software knowledge includes Bentley SACS, SAFI, or SAP 2000, with ANSYS and drilling-operations knowledge highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years of steel design experience within the upstream petroleum market
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong knowledge of Bentley SACS, SAFI, or SAP 2000
- Desirable: experience with ANSYS and knowledge of drilling operations and structures
