Job Summary
Structural Designer role focused on oil and gas facilities, pipelines, compressor stations, terminals, and processing plants. Responsible for designing and coordinating structural design efforts, developing detailed construction documents for steel and concrete structures, revising drawings based on redlines, performing field visits for as-built documentation, managing multiple projects to meet deadlines, and maintaining libraries of structural detail files. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is strongly preferred, with experience in AutoCAD and CADWorx for industrial structural or piping design. Ensure adherence to quality standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codes from concept through construction documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Drafting & Design Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using AutoCAD and/or CADWorx for industrial structural or piping design
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (versions 2021, 2022, or 2023) is required
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and structural plan sets for oil and gas facilities such as pipelines, terminals, and process plants
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor
- AutoCAD and/or CADWorx experience for industrial structural or piping design
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and structural plan sets for oil and gas facilities
- Experience in design of industrial ductwork, reinforced concrete structures, and structural steel components
