Job Summary
Conduct inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes for structural and building envelope performance failures. Perform field investigations, diagnostic surveys, and analytical computer problem solving. Prepare technical reports and presentations while establishing professional expertise through continued development. Submit a CV with publications, including those in review or pending. This role supports the Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Atlanta, GA, leveraging the firm's 640+ Ph.D. consultants to solve unprecedented engineering challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus, or related field
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) or the ability to become licensed within two years in the states of Georgia and/or Florida
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (writes clearly and concisely; writing is thorough and technically accurate; speaks clearly and concisely)
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to support multiple group projects
- Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
- Applies technical knowledge, creativity and innovation in completing assignments
