Job Summary
Support permitting, design, and construction of utility-scale solar projects by aiding in civil infrastructure design and conducting occasional field work. Coordinate with design team members to compile civil design plan sets, meet project milestones, and uphold company standards. Apply sound engineering judgment to evaluate technical procedures while developing skills through mentored experiences. Maintain clear communication across multiple offices and manage workload to meet contract requirements and client expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program
- Engineer-in-Training or Engineering Intern certification, or the ability to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within 6 months
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Effective time and workload management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks with a focus on detail
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism in all workplace interactions
- Effective oral and written communication skills for clarity and effectiveness
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple offices
- Ability to adhere to firm policies, practices, and procedures by following directions and guidelines diligently
- Ability to show assertiveness and a collaborative spirit when addressing and resolving conflicts
Desired Qualifications
- Civil 3D or AutoCAD drafting experience
