Job Summary
Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of plans, specifications, and reports for land development projects including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure. Develop design calculations, technical memorandums, and construction documents under the guidance of senior engineers, while identifying and resolving technical discrepancies by applying standard engineering practices and local development codes. Monitor project progress and coordinate design efforts to support schedules, budgets, and constructability, taking responsibility for significant portions of projects with oversight from senior staff. This role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, three years of site design experience, and an EIT license, with a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of civil site design
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Civil 3D
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline
- Proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures
- Understanding of regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
