Job Summary
Lead site planning and coordination for civil design projects, executing grading and stormwater management designs. Coordinate with internal engineers, architects, surveyors, and geotechnical specialists to resolve design issues and deliverables using Civil 3-D and AutoCAD. Mentor younger engineers and designers while managing multi-project priorities across K-12, healthcare, retail, and federal sectors. Requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Some travel for construction administration is required.
Required Qualifications
- Civil Project Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the field of Retail/Commercial, Educational (PK-12 and Higher Ed.), Public Buildings, Healthcare, and Federal
- PE License
- Experience in Site Development design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in design software to develop the design deliverables
- Knowledge with Civil 3-D and/or AutoCAD
- Proficiency with stormwater modeling and management
- Technical understanding of design standards
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Professional writing skills
- Ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Some travel may be required for construction administration
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to collaborate with other team members (Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve appropriate design or drawing issues and accomplish objectives
