Job Summary
Civil QC Inspector role focused on ensuring Civil ITP stages are followed, reading/interpreting drawings, applying civil codes/standards/specifications, performing inspections with minimal supervision, monitoring activities per contractor schedule, resolving quality issues with subcontractors, conducting tests to meet project specifications, maintaining QC documentation, identifying non-conformances, and timely reporting. The position requires a civil degree or diploma (or CCIL certification), hands-on construction experience, strong MS Office skills, safety focus, organizational discipline, and understanding of quality inspection procedures and equipment. Location is Fort Saskatchewan, AB with remote work option available.
Required Qualifications
- Required Civil Degree / Diploma or CCIL certified technician
- Hands on construction experience is preferred
- Good computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office
- Strong commitment to safety and people skills
- Self-motivated, organized and able to work in high pressure deadline driven environment
- Understands Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment
