Civil QA/QC Coordinator

Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections for concreting, earthworks, and subcontracted scopes including piling and rock anchors. Verify compaction results, concrete break data, and material receiving against project specifications. Coordinate with employees, subcontractors, and the client on inspections, documentation reviews, and final acceptance. Generate Non-Conformance Reports and manage document control processes to ensure traceability from initial order to field installation. Lead construction and final walkdowns with supervision and client representatives while issuing RFIs for technical issues. Support the Quality Manager in developing the Project Quality Plan and implementing CAR/NCR requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum three years' experience in quality control and/or civil construction
- Able to read and interpret civil drawings
- Competent knowledge in ASME Codes, CSA Code, and Building Code
- Proficient with computer programs, including Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- 6" high ankle steel-toed safety boots

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Concrete/Civil/Earthworks/Piling & Rock Anchor scopes preferred
- Familiarity with other discipline (such as mechanical and electrical) drawings an asset
- Experience using CSA A23.1/A23.2 is an asset
- Turnover experience is an asset
