Job Summary
Manage civil site development and roadway projects from planning and design through permitting, bidding, and closeout. Lead design efforts for grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, erosion control, and roadway improvements. Coordinate with clients, developers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success. Oversee schedules, budgets, engineering calculations, technical reports, construction plans, and permit applications. Provide leadership, stakeholder communication, and construction-phase support while mentoring junior engineering staff. Requires a licensed PE and 8+ years of consulting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- active Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting engineering
- strong background in site development, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and erosion control
- Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
