Job Summary
Manage civil and foundation construction projects from award through closeout by coordinating schedules, field activities, subcontractors, vendors, equipment, and materials. Partner with estimating and operations to ensure a smooth handoff, while tracking budgets, cost exposure, production progress, and change orders. Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and contract requirements to communicate with clients and internal teams on scope, schedule, and expectations. Support site logistics, sequencing, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely billing, forecasting, and overall project performance. This on-site role in the Chicago area requires direct experience in heavy civil, foundations, concrete, earthwork, or drilling.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of directly relevant civil construction project management experience
- Must have direct project management experience in civil construction, heavy civil, foundations, concrete, earthwork, drilling, or closely related work
- Candidates without directly relevant construction project management experience will not be considered
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in heavy civil, foundations, concrete, earthwork, sitework, or drilling preferred
