Job Summary
Manage civil construction projects from award through completion, developing schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts while coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal field teams. Oversee contract administration, change management, and progress billing, leading project meetings as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and support estimating, planning, and work acquisition efforts as needed. This role supports the stable pipeline of civil and infrastructure work in Northern Ontario, offering long-term career stability with a well-established contractor.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience managing civil construction projects
- Background in civil infrastructure such as roads, highways, earthworks, utilities, water/sewer, or municipal works
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Experience working with public-sector owners and consultants
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
