Job Summary
Civil Project Manager / Project Engineer to lead full lifecycle civil site development projects from feasibility and master planning through construction administration for public and private sector clients in Myrtle Beach, SC. Serve as primary architect of project lifecycle, directing site design with focus on grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control, and regulatory permitting while coordinating with clients, contractors, and agencies. Role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration (landscape architecture, marine engineering, GIS) within a condensed work week and a family-oriented culture. Requires PE license (SC preferred or via comity), 5+ years in site development design, and advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency. Responsibilities include budgeting and financial oversight, mentorship of junior engineers, and leadership of design teams to deliver technically precise, fiscally responsible site solutions across both public and private sector engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the design of public and/or private site development projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (SC preferred or ability to obtain via comity)
- Advanced, professional-level command of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Leadership: ability to manage project financials and lead small-to-mid-sized design teams
