Job Summary
Civil/Project Manager/Inspector role balancing field and office work in Warren, NJ. Responsibilities include conducting site evaluations and preparing design, bid documents, and technical specifications for site/civil projects (stormwater/drainage, paving, grading, MSE walls), performing field measurements and civil calculations, producing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates, representing clients in bid processes, managing site/civil construction projects, monitoring work for conformance to documents, reviewing change orders, ensuring compliance with local codes and permitting, coordinating with clients and contractors, traveling to field sites as needed, and providing professional, client-focused service. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; strong written and verbal communication, organization, and teamwork skills; ability to work in both field and office settings and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience
- 4 years’ minimum experience in Engineering, Construction Management and/or related education and experience
- Experience with site/civil work including: stormwater/drainage, asphalt and concrete pavement, grading/topography, MSE wall, or other related site features, etc.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license desired but not required
- OSHA 10 hour certification preferred or must complete within three months from date of hire, fees covered by Company
- Must have or be able to obtain an unrestricted valid Driver’s License
