Job Summary

Oversee full project lifecycles from planning through close-out, partnering with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to define scope, timelines, and deliverables. Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and resource plans while monitoring progress to avoid delays or cost overruns. Lead field teams, coordinate procurement and equipment, and manage change orders, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety standards. Prepare regular reporting for leadership and clients, mentor team members, and identify opportunities to improve project processes. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction
  • Experience managing projects such as earthworks, utilities, pipelines, and road construction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, and project financials
  • Experience working with subcontractors and contract administration
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with clean abstract
  • Valid First Aid and CSTS 2020 certification
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing as required
  • Completion of corporate and site-specific orientations
  • Use of required PPE at all times on-site
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Financial acumen and understanding of project cost control
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

  • Comply with all company and WorkSafeBC safety regulations and procedures
  • Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and site requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or related field
  • P.Eng. designation or PMP certification
  • Experience with HeavyJob and HeavyBid software
