Job Summary
The Civil Project Manager role requires a highly motivated individual with over 10 years of progressive experience in designing and delivering Illinois transportation projects, specifically in roadway, highway, and civil site design. Responsibilities include directing project teams, supervising staff, engaging in design phases, and managing client relationships. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer license in Illinois are mandatory. Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation and Inroads is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or higher
- 10+ years of progressive experience designing and delivering IL transportation projects
- Licensed Project Engineer (P.E) in the state of Illinois
- Experience as project manager or lead roadway engineer on IDOT projects
- Experience working with clients such as State and County Departments of Transportation and municipal
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient at using MicroStation and/or Inroads (Open Roads Designer)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
