Job Summary
Manage staff and oversee project scope, schedules, fees, and construction administration for utility design, water distribution, and wastewater collection projects. Mentor junior staff, complete technical design and quality review tasks, and ensure project documents align with plans and budgets. Identify potential problems, resolve issues, and manage data research and compilation efforts. Assist with public works roadway design and support business development while maintaining regular communication with team members and clients. This full-service firm in Lexington, Kentucky seeks a Civil/Water Conveyance and Distribution Project Manager with a Kentucky PE license and 8+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience (site development, sustainability, utility design)
- Experience in Storm and Wastewater conveyance and water distribution
- 5+ years of experience managing complex projects
- Kentucky PE License
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with roadway/transportation facility design preferred
- Established relationships in the Louisville, KY area and southern Indiana
- Experience with KYTC and INDOT preferred
