Job Summary
Lead civil design efforts and client relations for a range of civil projects (residential, commercial, higher education, and public infrastructure). Manage design budgets and schedules; mentor engineers (EITs and PEs); coordinate with clients, consultants, and review agencies; oversee construction documents, cost estimates, and engineering reports; conduct site visits and construction administration (forensics, as-built data, submittals, RFIs); perform QA/QC and seal designs; develop proposals and contribute to business development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas preferred
- 5–10 years of civil engineering experience, including project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software (PondPack, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Autodesk SSA, Flowmaster, EPANET, WaterCAD)
- Strong technical background in site and land development, municipal infrastructure, drainage, grading, and utility design
