Job Summary
Civil Project Manager responsible for leading the engineering design and coordination required to physically prepare and service a site for construction, including land development design (drainage, stormwater, water, sanitary sewer, parking, roadways), utilization of Civil 3D and stormwater software to design and permit projects, and ensuring regulatory compliance; drives accuracy and quality of engineering design, documents, budgets, schedules, and RTM standards while performing site investigations and on-site construction observation; mentors and develops project team members and maintains strong client relationships through proposal writing and client acquisition.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Experience in leading and managing complex, large-scale projects
- Strong project management skills (planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation)
- Responsibility for project deliverables, milestones, and client satisfaction
- Ability to independently lead and perform complex engineering design and analysis tasks
- Proficiency in business development activities (proposal writing, client acquisition, and client relationships)
- Management of comprehensive project documentation and record-keeping
- Expertise in navigating and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes
- Leadership in quality control and quality assurance processes for projects
- Management of client relationships and satisfaction, including client acquisition and retention
- Exceptional communication skills
- Development and growth of project team members
- Experience in related fields
- Mentorship and client communications
