Job Summary
Project Lead for Water Supply & Conveyance focusing on planning, analysis, evaluation, and design of water infrastructure projects for underserved communities. Responsibilities include guiding younger engineers, performing and supervising hydraulic modeling, pipe hydraulics, and pump system design; developing plans and specifications; predesign client work and data communication; coordinating with municipal stakeholders and regulatory bodies (CDPHE); providing construction support, handling RFIs, and ensuring permitting; and mentoring team members while delivering technically sound solutions for water treatment and conveyance challenges. Requires a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 7+ years of design experience, Colorado PE licensure or eligibility, proficiency in AutoCAD with Civil 3D/Plant 3D, and strong communication and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant design experience
- Licensed as a professional engineer in the State of Colorado or eligible for licensure by reciprocity within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with focused experience in Civil 3D and/or Plant 3D
- Experience with hydraulic modeling and pump systems design
- Ability to mentor younger engineers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
