Job Summary
Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join CPH's Community Development team in Sanford, FL. Supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle, assisting with project planning, design, and execution, and gaining hands-on experience in engineering practices and project management. Duties include developing project plans (scope of work, timeframe, budget), preparing and maintaining documentation (reports, drawings, specifications), conducting inspections and quality control, supporting design and development through research and analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, preparing and evaluating proposals, presenting progress reports, and contributing to drafting and development of engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of experience with site design projects; experience with municipal projects is a plus
- EI/EIT Certification required
- Hands on experience with Civil 3D, Grading, Drainage, and ICPR highly preferred
