Job Summary
Manage and coordinate design engineers to meet project objectives for commercial and retail land development. Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, transforming conceptual designs into detailed plans for grading, drainage, and utility systems. Design horizontal and vertical alignments, perform earthwork calculations, and prepare profiles, cross sections, and constraint maps based on field data. Ensure deliverables meet project specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations. This role supports the design of grocery centers, mixed-use districts, and public-works developments within the Loveland, CO office.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (2009 or newer), Civil 3D, and hydrology/hydraulics software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- E.I.T. certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in the civil engineering field
- SWPPP experience or certification
- Background in commercial-retail land development projects
