Job Summary
Civil Design Project Engineer to lead and support land development design for commercial and retail projects in the Santa Ana, CA region. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating design engineers, transforming rough design information into construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, preparing plans for drainage, grading, water, sewer, storm drain, street improvements, and site planning, and producing construction documents and exhibits from field data and research. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of experience; E.I.T. certification required with PE preferred; proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D 2018+ and Hydrology/ hydraulics software; experience with commercial-retail projects is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Salary range: $80,000/yr – $100,000/yr. Flexible work options listed include Remote, Hybrid, and In-Person.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering field
- E.I.T. certification required; PE preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D 2018 or newer and Hydrology Hydraulics software
- Experience with commercial-retail projects a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
