Job Summary
Design complete project deliverables for permitting and construction of renewable energy projects. Direct and review work by staff engineers and technicians to ensure adherence to codes and standards. Provide clear directions for team members and support Lead Engineers during their absence. Independently evaluate and adapt standard techniques while developing a holistic understanding of the project lifecycle. Collaborate with internal teams to uphold company standards and participate in client interactions. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2-4 years of A&E experience, and EIT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 2-4 years of experience in the discipline within the A&E industry
- EIT certification
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Civil 3D
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Efficient in problem-solving
- Interest in renewable energy development and design
Desired Qualifications
- Recent PE certification
- Experience managing design staff
- Experience in renewable energy
- Passion to learn about the renewable energy industry
- Experience managing Land Development or Public Infrastructure projects
