Job Summary
Civil Design Project Engineer to lead and support design of land development projects across commercial and retail sectors in Santa Ana, CA. Responsibilities include grading and drainage, utility design, plan preparation, and transforming initial rough design information into working construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil3D. Prepare engineering drawings to standards, design basic construction documents, and develop special exhibits and constraint maps from field data and research. Coordinate design engineers to achieve project goals and contribute to high-impact community-focused infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering field
- E.I.T. certification required; PE preferred
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D 2018 or newer and Hydrology Hydraulics software
- Experience with commercial-retail projects a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
