Job Summary
Develop civil engineering designs for grading, utilities, paving, profiles, and cross-sections; create engineering plans using AutoCAD C3D; perform construction quantity estimates; cross-train in pavement, grading, drainage, water, traffic control, and stormwater pollution prevention; coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications with multi-discipline engineering teams and subconsultants; ensure that designs, plans, and calculations are accurate and complete. Requires PE in Texas, 5+ years in public works, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Benefits include flexible schedule and various insurance options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public works projects
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
