Required Qualifications
- BSCE degree
- CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
- minimum of five (5-10) years relevant experience or 8-12 years in the industry
- minimum of three (3) years management experience supervising technical staff
- demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- demonstrate Project management ability
- establish and maintain client/public-agency relationships
- management of construction documents and contracts
- management of construction support and field coordination
- management of project schedules and budgets
- preparation of contracts, fee proposals, scopes of work
- significant experience in client and public-agency interactions
- management of design and support staff
- ability to perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies
- processing of regulatory plans
- processing of public improvement plans (private and public)
- constructability reviews
- experience with construction support services
- applies engineering principles, techniques, and procedures for Civil Engineering design
- direction, control and planning of design team
- knowledge of CA/state codes and regional standards
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D CAD experience
