Job Summary
Civil Project Engineer II/III Roadway Design – Transportation Group in Charlottesville, VA. Design portions of roadway projects using Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads Designer; complete calculations, prepare material specifications, develop design details and plan sets, conduct field observations, and assist with cost estimates. Communicate with client staff and internal design team as directed. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, and about 2+ years of transportation civil engineering experience focusing on roadway design. Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer and AutoDesk Civil 3D is essential; VDOT experience and EIT designation are preferred. The role is based in the Charlottesville office and is in-person. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
- 2+ years of experience in transportation civil engineering related to roadway design
- Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer
- Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D (preferred)
- VDOT experience (preferred)
- EIT preferred
