Job Summary
Civil Project Engineer at Haley Ward responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling project activities to successfully complete municipal water, sewer, roadway infrastructure, dams, site planning, and stormwater management projects. Works in a team environment from planning through implementation, develops professional and economical plans and specifications, performs engineering computations, communicates with governmental/regulatory staff and represents clients at regulatory hearings, monitors QA/QC with budgets and schedules, advises field engineers and contractors, assists in project proposals including scope of work and manpower estimates, and supports business development while contributing to an employee-owned culture.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license with a minimum of 4 years of related experience OR Engineer in Training (EIT) on track to attain PE license with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted
