Job Summary
Civil Project Engineer at Gessner Engineering responsible for supporting and leading civil design projects from concept through construction. Develop site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility designs using Civil 3D; coordinate directly with clients, consultants, and review agencies. Prepare construction documents, perform QA/QC reviews, and ensure deadlines. Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration tasks (submittal review, RFIs). Manage project tasks, priorities, and timelines in collaboration with project managers. Requires a Civil Engineering degree (B.S./M.S.) and Texas E.I.T. registration with 1–4 years of civil/site design experience; proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; HY-8, Autodesk SSA, or Flowmaster a plus. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T. registration in the State of Texas
- 1–4 years of experience in civil/site design and construction document preparation
