Job Summary
Civil Project Coordinator role focused on coordinating heavy civil construction projects in the Lower Mainland. Responsibilities include preparing, updating, and distributing progress reports and dashboards; developing and monitoring construction schedules with milestones; maintaining logs, processing change orders, managing contracts, and ensuring permits and safety certifications are in place; acting as liaison between engineers, architects, and subcontractors to plan, direct daily on-site operations; and supporting advancement toward Project Manager. Requires 2+ years’ contractor experience in utility installation and earthworks, with preferred Civil/Mechanical Engineering degree. Hybrid work model with travel to sites.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with a contractor in utility installation and earthworks (asset)
- Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
- strong communication skills
- PM readiness or advancement
- on-site coordination experience
