Job Summary

Lead site development projects across residential, municipal, and institutional sectors, managing full project lifecycles from land acquisition to finished lots. Cultivate client relationships, craft comprehensive proposals, and deliver presentations at city hearings and council meetings. Provide technical oversight for pavements, utilities, grading, and drainage while fostering connections with municipal departments. Manage surveying requirements and lead a team of engineers and technicians through regulatory compliance and community engagement. Requires Texas Professional Engineer registration, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Professional engineer registration in Texas
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the types of responsibilities listed above
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors

Desired Qualifications

  • Project management experience including plans production and management of the following tasks: Experience with entitlements such as Platting, Zoning, and Municipal Permitting
  • Experience with Site Planning and Development Master Planning
  • Software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS
  • Grading and Drainage Design
  • Street and Alley Design
  • Site Design
  • Water and Wastewater Design
  • Hydrology and Hydraulics Analysis and Design
